  1. Many say that this was a race for the Republicans to win. I listen in awe as the Republican cognoscenti fulminate and ruminate over Obama’s stunning win. There is the paramount and preposterous position that the loss was because they didn’t, (1) Get out the vote, and (2) That they were not all inclusive. What a hoot. These throwbacks to the fifties just don’t seem to get that plain and simple fact that we are not living in a land of witch trials and The Scarlet Letter. It’s the 21st Century people.
No, I submit Romney lost simply because he couldn’t divest himself from the womb-warriors, the morality police, and the anti-reason league. He just couldn’t cut the cord with those two God authorizes female assault dipso’s. Those God Ok’s rapist nutters, Todd Akin, and Dickey Mourdock should have been disavowed from the outset. In this critical common sense decision, Mitt failed
The point spread between white females and white males was 19-points in Obama’s favor. That’s why he won. No sane woman, especially if she is educated is going to vote against her own self-interest. Elementary.
I hope the Republicans can learn a lesson here, because Gov Romney is a good and decent man. His own party’s position on public morality is what brought him down, not voter inclusion, vision or intelligence, or voter turnout.
Most Americans see women as equals, not childish chattel to be directed from on high. GOP … Please get your act together – we Americans need you. But please, no more religiosity and sexual invasion. Run the Government – not our lives. Understand?
